Golf Course - Eagle Lake Golf Course is located in Eagle Lake Regional Park at 11000 Bass Lake Road, Plymouth and is part of the Three Rivers Park District. Among the amenities there's a 9-hole par 31 course, practice range and Pitch and Putt Birdie Course. The visitor center doubles as a club house and features a meeting room, cart and club rental, lockers, concessions and computerized golf handicapping. The phone number for Eagle Lake is 763.694.7695.
Tuesday Night League - The Tuesday Night Ladies (TNL) League plays on the 9-hole par 31 course and tees off from the black tees. Tee times vary between 3:37 and 5:53 and are 8 minutes apart. Each team has an established tee time that is the same for the entire season. League play generally runs from early May to late August.
Teams - Each team consists of 4 golfers who prepay a green fee to Eagle Lake. It is up to each team to determine how to re-allocate green fees if there are more than 4 golfers or if a sub is used. Teams may have their own designated sub or use golfers from the sub list. If a team consists of more than 4 registered golfers, it is up to the team to determine who will golf each week. If a golfer is not able to golf, it is up to the absent golfer to determine if they want a sub, find a sub, and collect green fees from the sub. The sub golfer can be a golfer from another team, a sub listed on our roster, friend, or neighbor.
Registration Fee - The 2025 registration fee is $60. Regular/fulltime golfers are required to pay the registration fee. The registration fee pays for league software scoring and handicapping, prize money and attendance at the Fall Banquet. Substitute golfers may elect to pay the registration fee or opt out of the registration fee. However, substitute golfers who opt out of the registration fee will not be entered into the scoring software, are not eligible for prize money and do not attend the Fall Banquet. Registration fees are used for 1). League Software, 2) Food at the Fall Meeting, 3). Prize money and 4). Minimal Administrative expense. After meeting and administrative expense, the remaining money is awarded in prizes, with a yearend balance of $0.00 remaining.
Green Fees - Green fees for the 2025 golf season are paid directly to Eagle Lake and are $286 ($256 green fees + $30 tour card). The tour card provides a $3 discounted green fee. Besides Eagle Lake, the tour card can be used at the following Three Rivers Park District golf courses: Baker Evergreen and Cleary Lake near Prior Lake. Payment instruction for the Eagle Lake green fee is provided separately. If you do not want the tour card or prefer to purchase a seasonal pass, contact Eagle Lake directly,
Black Tees - Our league tees off from the black tees as this is not an 18-hole competition course and the holes are shorter.
Ringer Boards and Birdie Pins - Not available.
Handicaps - The league does not require a GHIN handicap. Handicaps are calculated within the league software and are established after a member has golfed 2 times. Once a golfer has established a handicap, golfers are ranked in flights. Flights are periodically evaluated, and golfers may move up or down in flight depending upon their handicap.
Weekly Events and Prize Money - Golfers who have paid the registration fee are eligible for prize money. Weekly events are selected so that all golfers have a chance to win prize money. Each week there is prize money awarded for birdies, chips-ins, closest to the pin and longest putt. Weekly events may be based on a team’s results or may be flighted. Prize money is awarded at the Fall Meeting.
Proxy Contest - For registered golfers only. Each week there are 5 proxy markers: 3 for closest to the pin for your drive that lands on the green and 2 for longest putt (first putt only and not second or third putt). If you are a sub and have not paid the registration fee, you are not eligible for the proxy, therefore do not mark your name on the proxy marker if you are closest to the pin or have the longest putt.
Substitute Golfers - Substitutes are welcomed to our league and may sub for a particular team or be a general sub. Substitutes generally opt out of paying a registration fee; if a sub opts out of the registration fee, then the sub's score is NOT entered into the league software scoring system nor are they eligible for prizes and proxies. Substitutes may elect to pay the registration fee and by doing so become eligible for prizes. If a golfer is looking for a sub, then it is up to the golfer to find a sub. We have a sub list on our website with contact info. Since the golfer prepaid the green fees, it is up to the golfer to decide on whether you are going to collect the green fee. The Sub does not pay Eagle Lake for the green fee, as it was prepaid by the golfer. Also, a sub can be anyone from our sub list or a friend. Subs are not eligible for prizes, therefore do not put their name on a proxy.
Meetings - We are planning a banquet style meeting at the end of the golf season. Date is to be determined.
Rain Policy - Rain generally falls into the following categories – rainy all day, rain predicted to start at or near tee time, rain starts during league play. Golfer safety is important and available weather information will be reviewed so that timely decisions can be made.
Rainy all day – Generally, an email will be sent out approximately 3:00pm canceling golf. Rain checks are available from Eagle Lake.
Rain during league play. If golfers tee off and a rain occurs during play, it’s golfer’s choitaomce on how to proceed. If golfers choose to end play, Eagle Lake will issue rain checks for the holes not played. In this case, obtain rain check immediately from the staff at Eagle Lake. If there is lightening – get off the course as quickly as possible,
Rain predicted to start at or near tee time – Our league will consult with Eagle Lake and review available weather forecasts and radar. If it’s apparent that a storm/rain will be occurring, an email will be sent out as quickly as possible to cancel golf. Many golfers show up at the course to determine whether they are going to play. There have been times where it looked like rain but held off until later in the evening. Each golfer decides what is best for them. If you decide not to golf due to impending rain, rain checks are available from Eagle Lake.
